Nudie Jeans - Surabaya Pop-Up

The Challenge

Design a pop-up repair store to reflect Nudie Jeans' identity and values. The store inspiration is by the traditional buildings found in Gothenburg.

Our Approach

Located in Surabaya, the walls are lined with traditional wood panelling around the interior, and painted in a light blue that reflects the a washed out colour of the denim. Much like a heritage building, Nudie Jeans denim and clothing range is designed to stand the test of time. This is core to Nudie Jeans' sustainability ethos.

The hi light of the space is the Nudie Jeans' signature stacked denim wall which shows the breath and depth of the denim in the Nudie Jeans range. The repair station at the entry, showcases the commitment by Nudie Jeans to forever repairs. The back of the store features a social area including vintage stools and light fittings as well as a drinks fridge, inviting customers to stay.
